About the College

Public institution  «Industrial-Technological College» of Department of Education of East- Kazakhstan Region is one of the oldest educational institutions in the city. The college was founded in  pre-war 1939, as a school of mechanization. Afterwards, the college was repeatedly renamed, but its main specialization remained unchanged, this is  training of specialists in working qualifications. Students are admitted on the basis of basic and general secondary education. Tuition is free, students from low-income families are provided with free meals. Students are paid a monthly scholarship of 21,787 tenge (increased - 25,025 tenge). The college has a good material and technical base, on the basis of which the theoretical part of training is carried out using modern educational technologies.

Most of the rooms where theoretical classes are held are equipped with interactive and multimedia equipment. Laboratories and workshops are equipped with all the necessary equipment: these are electronic simulators of the operation of a truck-mounted crane and a single-bucket excavator, an electronic scanner for detecting faults of modern cars, a tire assembly workshop, 6 trucks and 5 cars for training in driving category "BC", 4 excavators and much more equipment, which allows you to conduct laboratory - practical classes at a high professional level using elements of a dual training system. The existing educational, material and social bases allow for the full-fledged training of specialists.

Our study programs:

1. Maintenance, repair and operation of automobile transport.

Graduates receive a diploma of technical and professional education, a driver's certificate of a professional category "BC" and a certificate of a locksmith for car repair

1. Technical operation of road construction machines. In this specialty, graduates receive education in one of two qualifications:

• The first group of graduates at the end of college receives: a diploma of technical and vocational education, a certificate of a tractor driver of the AB category for the right to control wheeled and track-type tractors, a certificate of a professional driver of the "BC" category and a certificate of a locksmith for the repair of road construction machines.
• The second group of college graduates in that specialty receives a diploma of technical and vocational education, a certificate of a car crane driver, a certificate of a professional driver of the "BC" category and a certificate of a locksmith for the repair of road construction machines.

1. Catering service

Graduates receive the following documents: a diploma of technical and professional education and a certificate of a cook or pastrycook.

1. Farming

Graduates receive the following documents: a diploma of technical and vocational education, a certificate of a  tractor driver engine operator of the AB category for the right to control wheeled and track-type tractors, a certificate of a professional driver of the "BC" category and a certificate of a locksmith for the repair of agricultural machines.

1. Garment manufacturing and modeling

Graduates receive the following documents: diploma of technical and vocational education and certificate of a tailor

1. Construction and operation of buildings and structures.

Graduates receive the following documents: a diploma of technical and vocational education and a certificate of a brick mason or construction carpenter.

1. Installation and operation of internal sanitary devices, ventilation and engineering systems (by types)

Graduates receive the following documents: a diploma of technical and vocational education and a certificate of a plumber or an electric gas welder

1. Furniture production (by type)

Graduates receive the following documents: diploma of technical and vocational education and certificate of furniture picker 

The main directions and prospects for development for 5 years are laid down in the Strategic Development Plan of public institution "Industrial and Technological College" for 2018-2022 years.

The mission, vision and strategy of the college reflect its place in the educational space of Kazakhstan, consistency with national priorities, focus on meeting the needs of stakeholders, as well as the uniqueness and individuality of the college strategy. The level and orientation of the implemented programs meets the necessary requirements of the VET (vocational education and training) standard and allows   update the content quickly, ensuring the quality of training of specialists at a competitive level.

The purpose of organizing educational process is to create necessary conditions for students to master specialty disciplines and obtain qualifications in accordance with the requirements of the State standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Educational activities are offered in the state and Russian languages.

Planning the working and learning time of teachers and students involves:

- An academic year begins on September 1 and ends according to the working curriculum for a specific specialty and schedule of the educational process.

- Workload of compulsory training sessions of students does not exceed 36 - 40 hours per week.

- An academic hour lasting 90 minutes is fixed for all types of classroom learning and laboratory works.

Main documents determining the content and organization of educational process in the college are:  schedule of the educational process, work curriculum, schedule of training classes, work programs of educational disciplines, methodological materials that ensure implementation of relevant study programs. All listed documents are approved by the college Principal.

Workshop, laboratory structural subdivision of the organization carrying out educational activities on study programs of secondary vocational education, equipped with a modern material and technical base according to one of the competencies to ensure practical training of students. The documentation of the workshop includes the passport of the training and occupational health and safety briefing log-book for trainees, instructions on fire safety and labor protection.

«Internal combustion engine repair workshop»

Designed to conduct training in the specialty "Maintenance, repair and operation of road transport" to form and consolidate the skills of students in the diagnosis and repair of ICE(internal combustion engine) passenger and truck vehicles. Repairing gasoline engines is a complex process of restoring worn-out units and parts of a power unit to their original state or close to it. This process involves many operations and depends on the type and class of the motor.

The workshop is equipped with: car lifts; benches with ICE wrapping, spacers, straps, press and the necessary individual set of locksmith tools.

Tire shop

Designed to conduct training sessions in the specialty "Maintenance, repair and operation of road transport" for the formation and consolidation of skills in the following types of work: tire assembly of wheels; balancing; vulcanization; Disk editing correction of tyres from defects.

The workshop is equipped with car lifts; benches "For wheel balancing," "Curing machine" bench "" For installation and removal of tyres. Each student is provided with an individual set of locksmith tools. 

«Locksmiths workshop»

Designed to conduct training sessions in the specialty "Maintenance, repair and operation of road transport" to form and consolidate the skills of students in locksmithing (bending, straightening, cutting, grinding and drilling of metal.)

The workshop is equipped with: a drilling machine, fittings, straps, a press and necessary individual set of fittings.

All facilities of the college meet the current sanitary and fire safety standards.

Training laboratory «Catering service»

It is designed to conduct classes in educational practice in the specialty "Catering service organization" for the formation of skills and skills in the preparation of dishes, confectionery, rules for serving dishes and serving guests of catering enterprises. At the disposal of students, educational workplaces equipped with the necessary kitchen, dining utensils and equipment.

 Laboratory is equipped with: 

• electric: stoves, frying cabinet;
• mechanical: mixers, meat grinders, blender;
• refrigeration;
• Weight-measuring.

For laboratory and practical carving classes, sets of special knives were purchased.

Driving training in trucks, cars, cranes, excavators and tractors is provided by a driving instructor in the form of individual classes.

To obtain initial driving skills students study at the Computer, Simulator Laboratory, equipped with a simulator on a car crane, excavator and passenger car.
